Assessing and understanding a student’s profile, aspirations, overseas education plans, and providing commensurate solutions involves in depth knowledge and understanding of the various foreign education systems, cultures, and the challenges.
Since the past 12 years of our existence, it has been my endeavor to personally provide counseling to students rather than depend on front office counselors. Having had the experience of studying in US, I have taken it upon myself to personally handle students’ counseling and provided hundreds of students the right kind of inputs and helped them make the perfect academic choices.

No. As per U.S. law, it is illegal for international students to take up off-campus work, except under CPT (Curricular Practical Training) or OPT (Optional Practical Training) programs authorized by the university.
Typically the academic year in most universities starts in Aug/Sep and ends in May with Summer and Christmas breaks. They generally follow the semester system (2 terms) in an academic year. Some universities follow the trimester system (3 terms), or the quarter system (4 terms).
US universities follow the GPA (Grade Point Average) system to assess a student’s academic performance. It is calculated on a scale of 4.0. Letter grades (A+, A, B+, B, B- etc.) are assigned to the student based on his performance in a course with each letter carrying certain numerical value.

Completion of undergraduate course equivalent to UK undergraduate program with decent grades. Sound knowledge in relevant subject, and also proficiency in English (ability to listen, read & write in English).
The student can prove his proficiency by taking any of the universally accepted standardized English language tests like IELTS or PTE or TOEFL. A minimum satisfactory score is generally required by universities.
Yes, it is more or less mandatory to take English language proficiency test. Some universities might waive this requirement provided the student has scored a minimum of 65-70% marks in English subject in 12th grade.
It is advisable to keep all your documents ready and apply atleast 3 months prior to the program start date, i.e., apply in June/July for courses starting in Sept/Oct. But once the admission is confirmed, international students need to arrange finances, apply for Visa, and make travel arrangements. Hence it is advisable to apply atleast 6 months in advance of the program start date, i.e., apply by March/Apr for programs starting in Sept/Oct.
The actual investment (study & living costs) depends on the program and the university. But the approximate range for tuition costs would be £11,000 - £16,000 and living costs would be £8,000 - £11,500.
Yes, the existing rules permit international students to apply to more than one university for the same program. This will give a wider choice of university options and improves your chances of getting accepted.
